Current Status of the NJOY Nuclear Data Processing Code System and Initial Endf/B-VII Data Testing Results

Full text of publication follows: The NJOY nuclear data processing system is a comprehensive computer code for producing pointwise and multigroup neutron, photon and charged particle cross sections from Evaluated Nuclear Data File (Endf) formatted nuclear data files. It has been used to process Endf/B files from version III onward as well as evaluated data files from Europe (JEFF-3.x), Japan (JENDL-3.x), China (CENDL-2.x) and Russia (BROND2.x). Recent development work has focused on processing requirements for the newly released Endf/B-VII file. These developments will be summarized and initial Endf/B-VII data testing results obtained with MCNP5 for a variety of International Handbook of Evaluated Criticality Safety Benchmark Experiments will be presented.
