Hydrogen-caused delayed fracture of the neutron-irradiated 15Kh3MFA steel

Description

The results of investigation into the long-term strength of steel tubular specimens at an internal hydrogen pressure are presented. Data on the effect of the scale factor (wall thickness), the partical hydrogen pressure, and the smoothness of the internal surface were obtained. It is shown that the initial structure of the metal affects strongly the long-term strength of the steel at high hydrogen temperatures and pressures
