The problem of the environmental dosimetric control of the nuclear power plants in DDR are considered. The main principles of the environmental control are formulated. The main control componets are: the measurement of wastes and conditions for their propagation; the irradiation calculations; the experimental dosimetric environmental control. The state control program, adopted in DDR is described. The prospects of control are outlined
