Description
The present work has been undertaken with a two-fold objective: a) to design and develop an efficient light harvesting inorganic-organic nanohybrid material and b) to understand the interparticle interaction between these components. We have used water soluble ZnS-AglnS2 (ZAIS) QDs and cyanine dye (J-aggregate)to understand the energy transfer process between them and fabricate for light harvesting devices. This material also shows non-toxicitywhich shows its potentiality towards biological applications. (author)
