Description

The design basis specification for sub-assembly monitoring systems is summarised. A Fast Analogue Scanner for Data Acquisition system (FASDA) is described which has good accuracy and immunity to noise, and which, using only solid state components, gives excellent reliability. The operating principles are described and its application to CFR is considered. It is suggested as an effective rotating shield multiplexer. (U.K.)
