Description

Feasibility of XRF method for silver determination in some carrier materials was investigated. The analyser probe used for measurements contained 241Am radioisotope source and a krypton filled proportional counter. The following carrier materials were used: teflon, silica, resin and coal. Standard error of estimate for the range from 0.02% Ag to 0.2% Ag was 0.003% Ag and determination limit 0.01% Ag for measurement time 200 s. (author)
