Investigation of the diffusion in the ternary system Ti-V-Zr by means of the microprobe

Description
The four coefficients of interdiffusion in the ternary system Ti-V-Zr were obtained at 800 deg C in dependency of concentration. From these by extrapolation the coefficients of tracer diffusion were obtained. The use of the electron microprobe for this type of investigation is described. (author)
