Measurements of very low alpha activity in water
Description
Measurement of very low levels of alpha-emitting nuclides in water needs substantial improvements. A system based on the adsorbing properties of manganese dioxide eliminates the need for transporting very large volumes of water and increases the sensitivity of the measurement.
