Description

This paper reviews trends in the market for BIPV systems. The market for BIPV systems is expanding rapidly and is being promoted by demonstration and market incentive programmes being undertaken in various countries. The rate of expansion of the market is quantified and trends in the technology are discussed. The paper draws on work undertaken by the author as one of the UK representatives to Task 7 of the IEA PV Power Systems Programme and as technical writer for the International Survey Report produced by Task 1.
