Description

This paper describes comparison of the theoretically calculated fraction of either uranium or zirconium distributed in organic and aqueous phases during different stages of extraction with those obtained experimentally. Solvent extraction is carried out in a separating funnel in three stages in a crosscurrent mode using 35% tri-n-butyl phosphate in kerosene as extractant and uranyl nitrate pure solution and zirconium nitrate pure solution separately as feed solutions
