Description
Jet loop reactors are characterized by its good mixing, large interfacial area and high flux of mass transfer. Jet loop reactor with gas jet in presence of liquid submergence is studied in this paper. The hydrodynamic behaviors, such as the gas hold-up, liquid recycle rate and their relationships with operating and geometrical parameters are studied here. Gamma attenuation method is used for measuring gas hold-up. (author)
