Description
This Act and the Act implementing it (Bulletin of Acts, Orders and Decrees No. 443, 1979) came into foce on 1st September 1980. The Environmental Protection Act makes a number of amendments to the Nuclear Energy Act of 21st February 1963. The amendments concern the licensing procedures, in particular, applications, issue of licences and appeals and provide for greater access to documents as well as public involvement in the granting of licences. La presente Loi, ainsi que sa Loi d'application (Bulletin des Lois, Reglements et Decrets no 443, 1979) sont entrees en vigueur le 1er septembre 1980. La Loi relative a la protection de l'environnement apporte un certain nombre d'amendements a la Loi sur l'energie nucleaire du 21 fevrier 1963. Les amendements portent sur les procedures d'autorisation, notamment les demandes, les delivrances d'autorisations et les recours; ils prevoient egalement un plus large acces a la documentation ainsi qu'une participation plus importante du public dans la procedure de delivrance des autorisationsFiles
