Properties of toponium in potential models and QCD

  • 1. P. N. Lebedev Physics Institute, USSR Academy of Sciences

Description

The energy levels of toponium and their leptonic widths are calculated in a nonrelativistic potential model. The results obtained using interpolation formulas for the renormgroup β function and various phenomenological potentials are compared for a wide range of toponium masses (from 40 to 70 GeV). The sensitivity of the results to the specific features of QCD is discussed
