Description
Interesting phenomena of the Rosensweig instability associated with drop breakups and outward drifts are observed and analyzed. Strong dependences of the unstable phenomena on the diameters of drops and field conditions are verified. The drop breakups can be potentially applied as a non-invasive method to generate microscale sub-droplets and collected separately by the outward drifting behaviors
