High energy behavior of weak interactions and renormalizable theories

  • 1. Vienna Univ. (Austria). Inst. fuer Theoretische Physik
  • 2. European Organization for Nuclear Research, Geneva (Switzerland)

Description

The problem of weak interaction, namely the development of a normalizable theory which can be tested beyond the lowest order in the weak coupling is dealt with. The problems arising in the simple phenomenological theory are discussed and new theoretical and experimental developments leading to a solution to this problem are outlined
