Chamber for containing spent fuel assemblies from nuclear power plants
Description
In order to reduce the thermal stresses in the double wall of a chamber for containing spent fuel assemblies, the outer wall on its upper and lower side is designed as a compensator. Between the walls, the shielding against nuclear radiation is achived by means of a large number of plates containing B. (TK)

Um die durch Waerme hervorgerufenen Spannungen in der Doppelwandung einer Kammer fuer die Aufnahme abgebrannter BE zu reduzieren wird die aeussere Wandung an ihrer Ober- und Unterseite als Kompensator ausgebildet. Zwischen den Wandungen wird die Abschirmung gegen radioaktive Strahlung durch eine Vielzahl von B-haltigen Platten erreicht. (TK)Files
