Phase transformation in the iron with zirconium coating at isochronous annealings

Description
The samples of α-iron after magnetron sputtering of zirconium coating and consequent isochronous annealings at 400-1100 deg. C temperatures were investigated by the Moessbauer spectroscopy methods and X-ray diffraction. The phase transformations sequence was established. The relative quantity of the phase formation volume of sample, on each of stages of annealing, was obtained. It is shown that direction of phase transformation is determined by the components local concentration change during its mutual diffusion. (author)
