Guide for establishing of the quality assurance program of nuclear power plants

The guide applies to establishment of the quality assurance program and its documents preparation in each stage of the nuclear power plant from design to operation. It concerns various activities conducted by such organizations as the owner, plant manufacturer, component manufacturers, etc. for those structures, systems and components important in nuclear power plant safety, including design, construction, inspection, operation, maintenance, and so on. Describing overall configuration of the quality assurance program, procedure of its establishment, and standard method of preparing its documents, the manual is in the following contents: quality, assurance and the program, the procedure of establishing the quality assurance program, configuration, contents and management of the documents, and examination of the quality assurance program.
