Relativistic corrections to nuclear magnetic moments and Gamow-Teller matrix elements of beta decay
- 1. Osaka Univ., Toyonaka (Japan). Dept. of Physics
Description
The relativistic motion of a nucleon inside the nucleus is described by the Dirac equation with an effective potential of the scalar or vector type. Possible relativistic corrections to nuclear magnetic moments and Gamow-Teller matrix elements of beta decay are investigated theoretically.
