Testing of brittle materials by microindentation method

Description
Regularities of elastoplastic strain of a wide range of brittle materials are studied by the method of continuous indentation of the diamond Vickers pyramid in comparison with a series of ductile metals and alloys within a loading range of 0.01...15 H. It is found that deformation laws are similar both for brittle and for ductile materials
