Description
The investigation of highly irradiated (≤107 dpa) pressurised tubes of a ferritic-martensitic 12% CrMoVNb (DIN 1.4914) steel revealed negligible swelling in the temperature range from 420-600 C and irradiation creep or thermal creep, dependent upon irradiation temperature and stress level. Strength generally decreases for given irradiation conditions which can be explained by irradiation recovery - in accordance with previous low-dose results. New activities regarding characterisation of radiation damage and He-embrittlement in f/m steels in ADS typical irradiation environment are in preparation. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Das Schwell- und Kriechverhalten eines 12% CrMoVNb Stahls (DIN 1.4914) wurde im Temperaturbereich von 420-600 C und Dosen bis zu 107 dpa bestimmt. Schwellen ist vernachlaessigbar. Bestrahlungsinduzierte Durchmesseraufwertung erfolgt ueberwiegend ueber SIPA-Kriechen, bei hohen Spannungen/Temperaturen ueber thermisches Kriechen. In Ringversuchen wurde generell eine Festigkeitsminderung im Bereich von 150-200 MPa festgestellt, die auf bestrahlungsbedingte Erholungsvorgaenge zurueckzufuehren ist. In Vorbereitung sind Arbeiten zur Charakterisierung der Strahlenschaedigung fuer ADS typische Bedingungen zur He-Versproedung und der Zeitstandfestigkeit in Kontakt mit fluessigem Pb-Bi.
