Automated study of elementary processes in collisions of electrons with atoms and ions
Description
This paper describes an automated system based on an Elektronika-100I computer for studying processes of interaction of electrons with atoms and ions in intersecting modulated beams. The computer communicates with the experimental apparatus through stock hardware and specially developed interfaces. The system controls the experiment and processes the data with programs written in FORTRAN. This small system is promising for small laboratories who find it difficult to acquire or build CAMAC modules
