The characters selection of improved runner peanut treated by 60Co γ rays

Description
Several new lines of peanut with improved characters and quality were selected by treating the dry seeds of Florunner (USA peanut variety of Runner type) with 250 Gy 60Co-γ rays. The gray connect-degree analysis of the main characters of these lines showed that the yield per plant, shelling percentage and 100-kernel weight had high connect-degree with the pod yield, but the main stem height and No. of branches per plant had a lower one
