Rp-Process measurements with high-intensity RNBs
Description
The author has calculated the reaction yields of several reactions of importance to the study of the rp process. The reactions considered are 19Ne(p,γ), 31S(p,γ), 39Ca(p,γ), and 56Ni(p,γ). By comparison with the recently measured reaction 13N(p,γ), the yields are down by at least two orders of magnitude. Experimental measurement of these yield rates will require good beam intensity, and improved background reduction
