Transport properties of VSe2 intercalated with hydrazine
Description
The temperature dependence of the resistivity of the intercalation complex VSe2 (N2H4)sub(0.6) has been measured between 4.2 K and 450 K. The resistive anomaly associated with charge density wave formation observed at 110 K in pure VSe2 is found at a higher temperature, of 165 K, in the intercalated system. This behaviour is discussed in terms of the increased vanadium d band occupation which results from charge transfer from the hydrazine. (author)
