The PUREX process
Description
Even though the PUREX process is universally accepted and used for reprocessing of spent fuels, there is no one PUREX process flowsheet that is universally agreed upon. Differences exist among PUREX processes and plants in one country, and from country to country. This chapter covers PUREX processes in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Federal Republic of Germany, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Belgium, Japan, and India
