A trial of application of X-ray microanalyser connected with scanning microscope in haematology
- 1. Akademia Medyczna, Krakow (Poland)
Description
A method of quantitative analysis of bioelements in single blood cells was applied. The method is based on the use of an X-ray microanalyzer coupled with scanning microscope. Differences in the content and proportions of Mg, Ca, Zn, Sn, Mn and other microelements was observed in the granulocytes of healthy subjects as compared with patients with chronic lymphatic leukaemia, chronic granulocytic leukaemia, acute leukaemia and sideroblastic leukaemia.
