Metamagnetism in heavy fermion systems

Description
We present a detailed B-T diagram of the metamagnetic transition in CeRu2Si2 gained from longitudinal sound measurements. It exhibits two volume-collapsed regions. Further we present first results of a systematic investigation of the temperature and field dependences of the transverse sound modes near the metamagnetic transition in CeRu2Si2, UPt3 and CeAl2.
