Spectral line shift in a non-equilibrium partly-ionized plasma

Description
Atomic spectral lines shift caused by electrons and neutral atoms in a non-equilibrium partly-ionized plasma has been studied in the shock approximation. Expressions for width and shift variables held both for equilibrium and non-equilibrium cases have been presented. Electronic shift with alowance for all possible transitions from m, n levels for local-equilibrium electron distribution has been calculated. The shift of irradiation lines conditioned by resonance dipole-dipole interaction has been evaluated. At resonance interaction, the line shift has been shown to be of the same order that its width and must be taken into account when determining the line form
