Description
This article introduces a new method of reduction of the background in low activity radiometric measurement by means of pulse shape analysis. The algorithm is based on neural networks (NN) and allows for a classification of collected pulses. Preliminary results show that as much as 81% of measured signals are correctly recognized. (orig.)
