Formation reaction of K2Pb4Nb10O30

Description
The thermogravimetric and X-ray phase investigation of the K2Pb4Nb10O30 compound and its formation reactions is performed. The phase formation sequence under solid-phase synthesis of K2Pb4Nb10O30 ferroelectric is studied. As intermediate compounds in the course of preparation from oxides KNbO3, Pb3Nb4O13, Pb2Nb2O7 are observed. From potassium and lead niobates K2Pb4Nb10O30 is formed without intermediate pyrachlorine phase. The investigated compound has the phase transition (730 K) and congruently melting at 1600 K
