Synthesis and characterization of NiO-CdO composite materials towards photoconductive and antibacterial applications

Description
Highlights: • NiO, CdO and NiO-CdO nanocomposites were synthesized by a simple soft chemical route. • Enhanced photoconductive properties were observed for the NiO-CdO nanocomposite. • The composite showed enhanced antimicrobial efficiency compared to that of NiO.
