Description
This report describes the major maintenance work carried out for the upkeep of the atomic emission spectrometer (Direct current-arc). This is the only instrument of its kind, which is used for analysis of radioactive samples for chemical quality control of nuclear fuels and related materials in the department. This instrument is working since last 40 years with no spares available currently and now being maintained with in-house spares. (author)
