Within the frame-work of the collaboration with the NET team on blanket design studies, thermal and stress analysis of the Breeder Out of Tubes (BOT) blanket for NET DN are in progress at ENEA-Frascati. The present paper reports on results of the finite elemant thermal analysis. Special emphasis is placed on the effects of contact thermal resistences between different materials and possible breeder cracking due to thermal stresses and irradiation
