Fission-product removal from sodium by distillation
Description
The results of tests of a 100-mm-dia packed column having an equivalent of six theoretical stages and using /sup 133/Ba and /sup 137/Cs as the radioactive contaminants in sodium show that decontamination factors (ratio of /sup 137/Cs concentration in the distillate to the feed) exceeding 100 can be achieved. 5 refs
