Mathematical simulation of purex process taking into account di-n-butylphosphoric acid effect on extraction equilibrium (weak acid reextraction of actinides)

Description
Correction of a mathematical model of purex process is conducted on the basis of data on uranium and plutonium complexing with di-n-butylphosphoric acid (DBP) appearing in extraction systems as a result of radiolysis and acidic hidrolysis of tri-n-butyl phosphate. The results of calculations of uranium and plutonium reextraction by diluted nitric acid depending on DBP content are presented
