Description
This paper describes a simple method of obtaining a narrow image with a resolution of about 0.1% from a wide two-dimensional electron source in a spectrograph having a homogeneous magnetic field. The design of the spectrograph is not modified. The proposed method makes it possible to use spectrographs on ion beams of mass separators working on line with accelerators or reactors
