Description
A nuclear-physics method for finding ion temperature of hot deuterium-containing plasma is proposed. The method is based on 6Li ion injection and subsequent measurements of γ-quantum yield from the reactions 6Li(d,n)7Be*→7Be+γ (Eγ=431 keV) and 6Li(d,p)7Li*→7Li+γ (Eγ=478 keV). 12 refs.; 2 tabs
