Photometric observations of the central star of the K1-9 planetary nebula

  • 1. Astrofizicheskij Inst. im. V.G. Fesenkova, Almaty (Kazakhstan)

Description

B, V, R magnitudes are determined for the central star of the planetary nebula K1-9. The decrease of brightness and increase of star's temperature are marked with comparing with the data of 1953-1955. The new photometric data in combination with the additional HI envelope, detected earlier in the center of the nebula, testify a forming of a secondary shell. The binary nature of the central star is suspected. (author)
