Extinction curve for Cygnus OB2 No. 12
Creators
Description
We present an extinction curve for the star Cygnus OB2 no. 12. derived from scans of this star and less highly reddened stars of similar spectral types. Possible new difflise interstellar bands are found. The extinction curve resembles that found elsewhere in Cygnus for 1/A < 2.5 micron-1 except that the absorption "bump" near 1/A = 2.05 micron-1 is absent. Key words: interstellar reddening - interstellar matter - spectrophotometry
