Mechanism of electrode processes on carbon anode at electrolytic aluminium production

Description
According to analysis of theoretical data obtained from literature and experiments results the mechanism of electrode processes on carbon anode at electrolytic aluminium production was elaborated. The proposed mechanism allowed to explain the dependence of anode gases composition and carbon anode flow rate on current density, temperature, electrolyte composition, and inhibitors. (author)
