Raised steam temperature as a means to improve the thermodynamic process efficiency in a HTR power plant in consideration of economic aspects
Description
The report investigates the technical and economic consequences of a 500 MWsub(th) HTR power plant with a live steam temperature of 6500C. The power generation costs of the 6500C power plant are compared with the power generation costs of a power plant with normal live steam temperature (5300C). (orig.)
