Tunneling recombination of Vsub(k)-Tlsup(0)-centers in
Description
Experimental estimation of an upper bound on the tunneling radius in Vsub(k)-Tlsup(0)-center pairs in KCl-Tl crystals is carried out. Tlsup(0)-centers concentration changes at a temperature of liquid nitrogen during a definite period of time after a sample X-ray irradiation were controlled by the combination of luminescence and absorption methods. The upper bound on the tunneling radius in Vsub(k)-Tlsup(0)-center pairs constitute 50+-10A under the assumption of noncorrelative distribution of Vsub(k) and Tlsup(0)-centers over a crystal volume, at initial Tlsup(0)-center concentration of (1.0+-0.2)x1017 cm-3 and for 2H hour exposure
