Second choice: nuclear dumping on the high seas

Description
Low-level radioactive wastes disposed in the ocean prior to the promulgation of EPA standards for such waste disposal should be monitored. Several cases of radiation leakage at such sites have been documented. Requirements for ocean disposal of high-level wastes are being developed by DOE. The hazards of ocean dumping radwastes and their implications on an international scale are discussed
