(p,α) reaction at E/sub P/ = 30 MeV on the even-A nickel isotopes

Description
The (p,α) reaction was investigated at 30 MeV on the even-A isotopes of nickel with an overall energy resolution of typically 45 keV. In total, angular distributions for some 80 transitions were measured from 10 to 700 for the 60Ni(p,α)57Co reaction. The angle-integrated spectrum and differential cross sections are shown. Also transition strengths and relative two-neutron amplitudes are discussed. 5 references
