Study on heteronuclear complexes of copper and cadmium tartrates by the magneto-relaxation method
Description
Complexing in the system of copper(2)-cadmium (2)-tartaric acid has been studied with the help of nuclear magnetic relaxation of protons. Existence of two heteronuclear complexes of CuCdT24- and CuCd(HT)22-, where T=C4H2O64-, has been observed which have different protonation degree. At pH <= 7.2 a more protonated form of a heteronuclear complex dominates: at pH >= 8.5 a less protonated form does. The constant of transition of a non-protonated complex into a protonated one has been determined, it is equal to lg Ksub(p)=15.9
