First the author discusses the criteria necessary for longitudinal microwave instability. The second section estimates the limits of Zl, impedance, for the Main Ring in order to ensure longitudinal instability during its different performances. Section three addresses the estimates for impedance of the Main Ring at both low and high frequencies.
