Endobronchial curietherapy at high rate of dose: results and complications in the case of 111 patients

The endobronchial curietherapy at high rate of dose is a treatment which is well tolerated with an important and fast efficiency on obstruction and embarrassing symptoms. The rate of late complications is acceptable. The local control and the survive in small tumors are encouraging. Future studies will have to try to reduce late toxicity and to precise the integration of curietherapy high rate of dose in the non surgical primary treatment of bronchial carcinomas
