Commissioning Result of Modification of BATAN's Cyclotron for Determination of an Energy of Particle Beam

Description

A measurement of proton particle energy of BATAN Cyclotron was carried out using the stacked copper foils method, as part of testing of the cyclotron modification. The stacked foils activated at beam line by 1.5 μA protons beam during 60 minutes. The measurements were carried out at 38 cm, 41.2 cm and 41.5 cm of stripper radius. The measurements results was accordance with specification of modification namely 24 MeV until 27 MeV. The result also have insignificant differences compared to either theory or the measurement before which used the maximum range of particle
