Description
The myocardial effect of Urografin (370 mg I/ml) and Iopamidol (370 mg I/ml) was investigated in a blind cross over study. The overall appearance of complications was independent of the agent used. However, Urografin was most often followed by decrease in blood pressure (p < 0.05), while lopamidol most frequently caused ventricular ectopic activity (p < 0.05). The adverse reactions were not significantly influenced by the dose injected. The most striking finding was a significant relation between prolonged injection time and rhythmic disturbances. (orig.)
